Currently available

2006 Merlot (750 ml/ $18.65)

Grapes for this wine were hand-harvested in the Texas Hill Country. It is a rich, full-bodied table wine with hints of leather, tobacco and licorice flavors. It received a Bronze medal in the 2008 Lone Star Wine competition. Serve with red meat dishes of beef and lamb.

2008 Syrah (750 ml/ $18.65)

This red wine hails from Columbia Valley in Washington State, Maureen’s home state and is made from the same grapes that are called Shiraz elsewhere. It is velvety smooth with dark fruit flavors. Syrah is excellent with full flavored dishes such as beef stew.

2009 Sauvignon Blanc (750 ml/$13.99)

This elegant white wine is made from fruit from the Robinson Vineyards (owned by Texans) in Lake County, CA. The grapes were harvested and crushed in California and the fresh juice was shipped to us in a refrigerated truck. The wine was fermented, aged and bottled at our winery. The image on the label is from a painting by our Cypress Mill neighbor, Dena Wenmohs. Serve with seafood or chicken dishes.

Texas Le Noir (750 ml/ $13.99)

Rich dark red wine with a hint of sweetness harvested from the Texas Hill Country. (The Lenoir grape has also been called Black Spanish and/or Jacquez.) The image on the label is from a painting by our Cypress Mill neighbor, Dena Wenmohs. Serve with BBQ or other spicy dishes

2008 Dry Riesling (750 ml/ $13.99)

Smooth white wine is a light straw color with apple and pear sweetness to balance the acidity. This Columbia Valley wine is from Maureen’s home state of Washington. Complements shrimp dishes or spicy Oriental food.

2004 Merlot (750 ml/ $9.32)

Light red wine that is a blend of 76% Merlot and 24% Sangiovese grapes harvested in the Texas Hill Country. This slightly spicy red wine pairs well with Italian-style dishes such as spaghetti and pizza.
